This song is dedicated to my amazing friend Vidya who just happens to be in India right now.  Everyone please excuse my pronunciations.  Thinking about how little I know about this country makes me feel silly and ignorant. I second guessed whether I wanted to let the song be as it is.  I read an interesting quote once, it goes: “He who is ashamed of his poverty would be equally proud of his wealth.”  This song makes me think of a similar idea: he who is ashamed to show his ignorance would be equally proud to hide it.  In fact I think that is one of the greatest parts of my relationship with Vidya: We allow one another to feel comfortable being honest about ourselves to each other though we may end up looking foolish or ignorant sometimes.  The benefit of our relationship is that we may help each other become less ignorant and wiser as time goes on.  I believe that is something we can both be proud of.
