This article was very hard to read.  Military history can seem very dry to me.  Eventually I started to get into it though.  In addition, I am very pleased with the song and I think it tells the story of the battle pretty well.  The interesting thing about this battle is that a lot of lives were lost but it apparently had little effect.  The French technically won though they were unable to take advantage of that victory.  War is lame if you ask me.  All these guys that killed each other could have built something cool or created something useful.
