I made this with my amazing friend Kelly “Kelly Pencils” Dunn.  This one hardly has anything to do with the article although we did discuss it briefly before putting this together.  Actually you hear parts of that very discussion within the recording. We were planning on working together on a “song.”  Kelly didn’t know I was recording her playing around in the microphone while we talked.  We cut out the interesting parts and made a fun/strange little track by cutting and pasting in GarageBand.  I don’t think John Locke would approve of this one, or anything I do for that matter, because he found music and poetry to be a waste of time.  You might be O.K. Kelly.  I think he said drawing is acceptable: “children should be taught to draw because it would be useful to them on their foreign travels (for recording the sites they visit)”  Hmmm.  Maybe you’re not O.K. Kelly.  I guess you’re going to have to do some more traveling.
