The instrumental part of this song is an orchestration of a tune called “firecracker” on a CD that I recently purchased. The original version is by a band called “Unwed Sailor” that I saw at the Metro on Saturday. I met Johnathan, the bass player. The lyrics aren’t necessarily inspired by this particular car. The song is more about the freedom of the open road.
